Custom Book Cover Design Process

Getting to know you and your book
We discuss your book, your audience, genre expectations, and goals to establish a clear creative direction, scope, and timeline. You don't need to have everything figured out; I'll ask the right questions. Because a cover built on a clear understanding of your book will always outperform one built on guesswork.

concept development
I develop two cover concepts based on your story, your market positioning, and what works in your genre. Each concept is a considered design direction, not a rough sketch. Because the right concept should already feel close to finished, not like a starting point.

Refinement
I refine your selected concept through up to two revision rounds, focusing on clarity, hierarchy, and impact. Your feedback shapes the final direction. Because a cover that's been pressure-tested with your input will always work harder than one designed in isolation.

Delivery
You receive print-ready and digital files formatted for your publishing platform, plus mockup images ready for promotion. Your cover is ready to launch. Because a finished cover should be ready to sell and not need another round of work before you can use it.
Why Work With Me
I come to book cover design with a background in journalism, communications, and editorial design.
That means every decision—type, image, hierarchy—is made with intent. Your cover isn't just designed to look good; it's designed to signal genre, attract the right reader, and hold its own in a competitive marketplace.
Working with me means working one-on-one with the person designing your cover from start to finish. There are no handoffs, no templates, and no guessing. I take the time to understand your book, your audience, and your publishing goals before designing a solution that fits both the story and the market.
Design is never just visual; it's narrative. Your cover tells a story before your reader opens to page one.

FAQ
Pretty impressive. Olga knows what she is doing. No technical talk. All decisions were suggested with the end client in mind. She brought up a bunch of stuff that I did not even think about. Definitely recommend.

Laura Westfall,
Mental Health Professional
I was looking for a website designer that understands and knows SEO. Olga was the only person I could find, she was professional and patient, efficient and worth money. She obviously knows what she is doing. The process was easy and very customer-focused. Recommendher 1000%.

Arina Rodionova, Insurance Consultant
As an award-winning and multi-bestselling author, I’ve learned a few things about what a book cover needs to stand out—especially in the non-fiction genre. I love Olga's style: her covers are professional, eye-catching, and make the book's topic immediately clear.
